About Julie Mathes

I grew up in St. Joseph, Missouri where my parents volunteered and worked for the community in various ways. I met Steve at Newcomb College of Tulane University during our junior year. We graduated in 1978 and became engaged at graduation. I graduated with a degree in Geology. We were married in November of 1978 and moved to St. Louis where we raised two sons: Andy who lives in Atlanta, and Joey and his family who live around the corner!

After working hard in the volunteer world for years and years, it was time to put my volunteer skills to use working with Steve, as Joey left for college. I got my real estate license and went to work with him every day. We had a blast. As technology developed, it gave me the ability to work from home. Now, Joey and his wife, Kaitlin, have two amazing little girls, Catherine and Julia, and we are thrilled to be their nanny and papa. They are a joy and the light of our lives. They inspire me every day. Working with Steve and Joey is so fun and our work together is extremely rewarding.
